Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA / April 8 , 2024 — Biomason Inc. appointed Camilo Restrepo Restrepo as Chief Executive Officer, effective March 4, 2024. Mr. Restrepo is a proven leader in the cement and concrete industry who joins Biomason after 19 years at Cementos Argos, most recently as President of the Cement Business Unit for Argos USA.

Biomason also recently elevated its R&D leadership through the addition of Dr. Aristos Aristidou, who joined Biomason as Chief Scientific Officer in 2023. Dr. Aristidou has more than 25 years of leadership experience in bioindustrial technologies and came to Biomason after a decade as Director of Biotechnology R&D at Cargill.
